The Secretariat of the Inter-American Telecommunication Commission (CITEL) of the Organization of American States wishes to inform the list with the selected candidates that they fulfill all the requirements to receive this fellowship to study the course of "Telecommunication Network for non technical users".

General Information:

Details of the course: Distance-education course on "Telecommunication Network for non technical users" .This course is offered by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Center of Excellence for the Region of the Americas through the Excellence Network Node and Regional Training Center of CITEL: Comisión Técnica Regional de Telecomunicaciones de Centro América (COMTELCA).

1) Place of Study: Distance education course “Telecommunication Networks for non technical users” offered by the International Telecommunication Union, ITU, Centre of Excellence for the Region of the Americas through the Excellence Network Node and Regional Training Center of CITEL: Comisión Técnica Regional de Telecomunicaciones de Centro América (COMTELCA

2) Number of fellowship offered by CITEL: Forty four (44) full fellowships for the registration fee.

3) Deadline of Reception of Applications: August 15, 2003  in Washington, D.C., United States [1]. The deadline for presentation of applications to the National Liaison Office (ONE) differs from country to country and should therefore be confirmed with the relevant ONE in the applicant's country of origin. ONEs are requested to submit application forms to the Inter-American Agency for Cooperation and Development in Washington, DC., by the deadline specified in the course announcement.

4) Courses Dates: September 1 to November 7, 2003 (number of courses will depend on number of studens)

5) Duration: Ten (10) weeks per session.

6) Language: Spanish
