XIII Meeting of PCC.I will be held in Puerto Iguazú, Misiones, Argentina from August 5 to 8, 2008

During the Fourth Regular Meeting of the CITEL Assembly (February 2006), the were elected and structural reforms, programs and proposals to help countries face new challenges were studied. The Assembly adopted a political declaration "The Declaration of San Jose" that defines the region’s goals and mandates in telecommunications, as well as the CITEL Strategic Plan for 2006-2010.

Most of CITEL's work is done within the framework of committees that meet periodically and also coordinate their activities, in the online forum, by e-mail, by telephone and other means.

The committees are:

Permanent Executive Committee (COM/CITEL)
Permanent Consultative Committee I: Telecommunications
Permanent Consultative Committee II: Radiocommunication including Broadcasting
Steering Committee
Conference Preparatory Working Group
