There are several programs or plugins that you may want to obtain in order to access material placed on this site. They will help you access documents that are in special formats, mainly Microsoft Word (.doc)and Adobe Acrobat (.pdf).
We try to distribute MS Word documents in the format of Microsoft Word 95 or 97 so that as many people as possible can use it without worrying about losing formatting when converting. If you do not own Word, you can obtain the viewer: Office viewers Win95 (2.2 Mb) or Win 3.1 (1.2 Mb)
Files are also distributed in the Acrobat Reader 4.0 format, which carries the file extension of pdf. Please see the link below if you need viewer for this format.

Some collections of files are in compressed archives so that they are easier to manage and take less time to download. These files have the extension of .zip. You may want to obtain a freeware program to give you easy access to these files. We suggestion that you download a freeware archiver like PowerArchiver or shareware program like Winzip
We have also been distributing file collections in self-extracting compressed archives. These have the extension of .exe. All you have to do is download the file to your hard disk and then click on it. It will automatically expand its contents.
