Workshop on Wireless Broadband: Opportunities and Challenges

Following last year’s successful videoconference on VoIP, which allowed USTTI trainers to interface with hundreds of regulators and entrepreneurs of the Americas attending CITEL’s PCC.I meeting in Asuncion, the USTTI and CITEL have reached agreement with the World Bank’s Global Development Learning Network (GDLN) to utilize the World Bank’s technical infrastructure to deliver elements of the USTTI’s wireless broadband curriculum via a second videoconference.

The interactive videoconference will be held on Monday, April 25, 2005; 2:00 - 5:00 PM, EDT, and will include USTTI presentations, country presentations, case studies, and a question and answer session.

To date, confirmed USTTI presenters include representatives from Intel Corporation, Lucent Technologies, QUALCOMM Incorporated, and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
